THE FOLLOWING ARE MOTIONS MADE DURING THE REGULAR MEETING OF THE INLAND WETLANDS AGENCY/ CONSERVATION COMMISSION – MADDEN ROOM
Chairperson Warren called the meeting to order at 7:00 pm

ITEM: MINUTES: Minutes from 4/18/2012 approved by consensus as corrected.
ITEM: CONSERVATION COMMISSION:
Chairperson Warren attended the Planning and Zoning Commission meeting on April 24th in regard to the vote to reconsider the Modification of Use to Dzen Farms Open Space by PZC (request to change the use from meadow habitat to hay production with no restrictions on mowing). PZC approved the change in early March. Warren attended the PZC hearing with documentation in support of the original approval. Warren reported that the vote was 3 to 3 on a motion to convert the approval condition to allow the open space changed from meadow to hayland. The motion failed and the original condition remains in effect – the meadow stays.

Appl. #12-20W – Town of South Windsor – Long Hill Road Reconstruction Project – Determination of Public Hearing IWA/Conservation Commission application for the reconstruction of Long Hill Road including associated improvements to the drainage and stormwater structures The site is located southerly of Pleasant Valley Road and northerly of Chapel Road.
Motion to: Hold a public hearing on May 16, 2012 for Appl. #12-20W – Town of South Windsor – Long Hill Road Reconstruction Project due to the potential for public interest.

The motion carried and the vote was unanimous
